RUBY ROOM EMPOWERS YOUTH
THROUGH FASHION
BY CHANNELING THE STRENGTH OF PERSONAL
STYLE AS A TOOL FOR BUILDING SELF-CONFIDENCE
At Ruby Room, we believe taking pride in and ownership of your personal appearance is empowering. Through our signature programs, Ruby Room is helping youth by providing access to clothing and hygiene products.
Ruby Room is a non-profit 501c3 organization.
Clothing is a basic human need, no matter where you’re going, what you’re doing, or who you are.
Unfortunately, due to a wide variety of circumstances, many children and teenagers in our communities are not able to positively experience fashion as a confidence-building tool. Ruby Room is a safe, inclusive space that gives Washington State youth in financial need a place to experiment with their personal sense of style and build an appearance that allows them to look, feel, and act their best.
The boutique is open

“Being able to come to the Ruby Room was important because we can’t afford to buy a dress and the accessories. Since prom is a one-time opportunity, I would just miss out if it wasn’t for this amazing program We are so grateful.”

“You and your team provided such a gracious and amazing experience for the girls!!! Thank you so much. So far all of the buzz has been extraordinary. Myra was wearing her outfit today, and the staff have been telling me how excited they all were afterwards (and that they were able to manage that excitement). I think the whole event went off without a hitch, which is amazing. Your volunteers were all so professional and kind and had appropriate boundaries. You’re surrounded by good people!”

“Having been a Ruby Room client, it was important that I had the opportunity to come back and volunteer years after I graduated. I wanted to share the same wonderful experience I had with another girl. This time as a stylist, I was making new memories at the Ruby Room. ”
