Introducing the RubyRox Box, a care package program designed to deliver every day essential items and products to foster youth to promote joy, wellness and personal growth.

With the help of sponsors, community partners, and volunteers, the RubyRox Box will provide essential items for youth experiencing foster care. The RubyRox Boxes are distributed through the Ruby Room’s client network and WA State social workers who will deliver them directly to youth in need!

We’re asking for your support to gift items or a complete RubyRox Box care package for a child in foster care.

What’s in a RubyRox Box?

New Shoes

A new pair of shoes will take you places! RubyRox Box provides a voucher to a local retailer so youth can go in to the store and choose their preferred style and size. Giving kids the power to choose is how RubyRox Box stays true to the mission of Empowering Youth Through Fashion.

Aromatherapy bracelet

A fashionable and functional piece to help bring the healing properties of wild orange. Worn throughout the day kids can experience the benefits of wild orange including the ease of trauma symptoms, pain relief, uplifting, improving cognitive function and alleviates stress.

Dream catcher

Night time can be one of the most difficult times of the day for foster children. Handmade by our volunteers, the dream catcher is intended to help children find grounding and comfort to promote healthy rest.

lavender Stuffed animal

The benefits of companionship and lavender in one. Holding this friend close will ease the hearts of children and bring the calming effects of lavender that is infused inside the stuffed animal.

Journals & Letters

A journal is included for jotting down goals and memories, a proven method for reducing stress. Paired with note cards for youth to write to family and friends whom they are feeling distant from.

Affirmation stone & crystals

Selenite is a calming stone that instills deep peace, relaxation and clears confusion. It promotes a sense of protection, harmony, and soul healing to body, mind, and home. Selenite aligns the spinal column and promotes flexibility.
